Joy Division Cast Announced

A cast has been chosen for Control, a biographical movie about Joy Division singer Ian Curtis. Ian will be played by Sam Riley (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0727165/) and his lover Annik Honore will be played by Alexandra Maria Lara (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0487884/). It will be directed by Anton Corbijn, who has directed music videos for Nirvana and U2.

one of my favorite bands. if you want a good insight to what ian curtis was like read the book "touching from a distance - ian curtis and joy division" by deborah curtis. it was written by his wife. its a great book.
