Ever seen those reviews on iTunes that aren't really reviews, just space to talk about how your favorite band is the best band that ever existed and OMG I LOVE THEM!!!!!!! SO MUCH!!!

Ever written one?

Be honest. There has to be some of them. And if you feel like it, tell which album you "reviewed" and what you said. I'd be interested to hear.

I reviewed So Wrong, It's Right. It was a legit review, praising the album all around, but it was a paragraph long, so I'm sure that bored all the ATL fangirls, because it didn't say "OMGG, LYKE JAK BEARKATZ IS RULES. :):):):)<3

I hate those people.

mostly its just people giving 5 stars talking about how awesome it is and nothing else, so no

i remember looking at the reviews for south park season 13. The majority of the one star reviews were angry jonas brothers fans lol

It wasn't really a review but more like a couple of sentences to shed some light on the Noah and the Whale album, Peaceful, the World Lays Me Down as it was overshadowed by their single and people were writing them off as a one hit wonder. I am biased though as it was my favourite album to be released last year.

I've written one. But then I realized that most iTunes reviews are annoying as hell so it stopped there. But maybe we should write some good ones, i'm sure there are people there hungry for reason and tolerable grammar.

Never felt compelled to, mostly because I doubt listeners head to iTunes for legitimate reviews. Same deal as Amazon really.

One time I reviewed Good Old War because I was bored...

I only do it for my friends' bands that have albums on iTunes.

Just saying something about the electronic drum beat at the beginning of an ATL song.

the reviews there seem useless for some reason, even the ones that are well thought out..

Only to justify the current rating of the album.
for better or worse.

I tend to only want to read bad reviews. Even if it's about something I love. Anyone else like this?

screw them. They're mostly biased and non-informative because any old (or young) hack can write stuff in. How about that shit that's in capslock? I hate when people do that.

This happens to me a lot as well. I like to see what people don't like about it.
