So there is no All Star Game this year....and unlike a lot of hockey fans I know, I actually really enjoy the All-Star game. So imagine there was one this year....I want to hear everyone's ideal lineups.
I'd post mine now but my ass is tired and I'm more concerned with what everyone else has to say. I will put my goalies for now.
Eastern Conf.
Hasek, Brodeur, Gerber (Young Stars game would be: Lundqvist, Miller, Fleury)
Western Conf.
Legace, Turco, Kiprusoff (Young Stars would be: Sanford (yes, he plays for the Blues, but ignore the stats, he's great), Garon, Toskala...just ignore his stats as well, he has lots of potential)

It would be awesome to see someone put Ovechkin, Crosby and Staal on the same line.

haha hockey gets ignored everywhere, even in the sports forum.
I am not a fan of any all star game, pro bowl or the like, but it is a nice honor and all for the players. Cannot really argue with your goalie selection, ill post other picks tmw.

Yeah. I wouldn't have known it was on if it wasn't on the tv in the card room.

i remember owen nolan pointing at hasek and then scoring on the breakaway in the all star game (i think that one was in SJ?).
Would have been so much better if he shot it wide or hasek made a routine save.

TSN (the leading sports channel in canada) compiled an all star team based off voting on there website, i cant remember the rosters and i cant find them on there website but it was very interesting.

Can someone explain why there is no all-star game. Is it because they are just trying to get in the swing of things after losing last season. Hockey always seemed to be a big thing here in Minnesota the past 4 years I'd been up here, but it is just kind of 'meh' now..

So their teams probably consisted of Canadiens, Maple Leafs, Canucks, Oilers, Flames, and Senators players...just kidding...kind of.
