One of My All-Time Favorite Bands

Jimmy Eat World (http://www.jimmyeatworld.com) have about seven demos in rough form completed for their new album. Some of the songs are: "Carry You," "Chase The Light," "Stop," "Beautiful Is," "Dizzy," and "Gotta Be Somebody's Blues." The band is a little ways away from recording the album versions of these songs, but they have reserved the services of Chris Testa when it comes time to record. The band is hoping to work exclusively in their own studio in Tempe, AZ.

Seeing JEW open their last concert in philly this past spring with "For Me This is Heavan" was one of my most memorable concert moments. I've tried for a long time to find a live version like it, but I've gotten nothing.

slow jew is amazing. clarity is my favorite album of theirs. i really liked the new ep though. the one thing i'd like them to change is maybe tone down the production on the vocals. make it alittle more raw

alright come on what about songs like 17? or rockstar? or hey.... lucky denver mint. i happen to think static prevails is the best album but in all honestly there like thursday they cant put out a bad record. some song may lack some interest but for the most part their all excellent in my book and when futures came out i was so surprised of how good it was. i havent heard the e.p. but with all this excitement i'm def. going to

I guarantee that these songs are already better than any songs that any other band has written this year.

They are literally unbelievable (to me) as songwriters. The slow songs, the fast songs.. it doesn't matter. Pure genius. They have that "something" that is unattainable for other bands. It's intangible but present on all their albums. Especially Clarity.
