Do you think the new album can possibly be better then And The Battle Begun, different but just as amazing, or not as good?
I'm blasting both on shuffle on my ipod. They're aces. Both outstanding.

RX Bandits also have a unique pull for both the ska and the progressive crowd. I never really cared for ska, but once I heard "Blessings Be Yours, Mister V" on TSOAF's Ocean and the Sun, I decided I HAD to hear RX Bandits. The rest is history. Seeing them on the 12th of August now (first timer), and I'm stoked.

Better.
Better.
If it makes you feel better...my initial attraction to TSOAF was the musicianship (which I find to be BETTER than The Mars Volta due to their ability to fucking FOCUS on the music rather than simply fapping off on their instruments endlessly). I only later learned who that the band was basically just the RX.

WOAH WOAH WOAH HOLD THE GODDAMN PHONE THERE FOR JUST ONE SECOND YOU FILTHY WHORE.
The Mars Volta's musicianship > all.

Given the amount of "practice time" they put in on EVERY ALBUM, they'd better be pretty damn good at what they do.
They may be better, but they are the LEAST focused musically of any band I've ever heard. Endless wankery.
But Deloused is amazing.

It's in my top five of all time. And "Day of the Baphomets" is probably one of my favorite songs ever. It blows me away every time I hear it.

As far as I'm concerned, Deloused is by a different band altogether.
