Copeland (www.thecopelandsite) are set to release a series of double disc live albums (along the lines of what Pearl Jam did a few years back) entitled Instant Live. There will be 11 released in total, and they're available for purchase now. These limited editions discs can be ordered right here (http://stores.musictoday.com/store/dept.asp?band_id=926&sfid=2&dept_id=7912&viewall=true) (cover art, track listings as well as where & when each disc was recorded can be seen too).

i was at the lawrence show and got the instant live cd from lawrence. are they just selling them exclusive on the net now because they didn't sell well at the shows themselves? i just got it because it was a keepsake from the good time i had at the show and i can forever have the show that i was at. i don't know if i'd want to get a cd from a show that i wasn't at.

I wish more bands would do this actually. I know it is kind of expensive to do but I like the idea of buying the live CD of the show you were just at. I agree with the guy above though it wouldnt be very special if you werent at the show.

Anyone know how long Copleand's set list for the Screaming Babies Tour is?
I would be interested if Aaron didn't suck life. Geez, what a disappointment.

Why? They're not that good live...Exactly. And these are the CDs that were being sold on their last tour right after their shows [not all of them]. I guess it's cool that they're re-selling them now. I have Portland's.

Last time I saw Copeland, I was blown away. Other times, they were alright, but that last time was really something special.

These guys are great live, if you want spin kicks and gratuitous jumping around go see some other band. They hit all their notes, and sound perfect.
do not buy "Live At The Door - Dallas, TX 10.28.05"
its awful.
ive seen them before and their magnificent but on this disk they sound god awful. i cant bring myself to listen to it.

I saw them in Columbus and they played a decently long set. Probably around 40 minutes. I was excited they were on this tour, but to see Cartel and get amazingly pumped up and then to have to sit through Copeland was a little difficult, especially when I knew The Starting Line was next. It's a great tour, though. I had a blast.

I would be careful about saying that Copeland is releasing these.... Tons of websites are doing this and they are sometimes great recordings. But usually aweful, plus you're paying $15 + shipping for cdrs.
It's funny that bootleg websites justify selling cdrs as calling them "limited edition." A site like this bootlegged a ton of bands at cornerstone a few years ago and when my friends contacted them about it, they wanted to charge the band for copies.

Why are you always hating on Militia Group bands, Tommy Gunn? Do you work at Tooth & Nail or something?

I hate on a lot of bands. It's just kind of what I do. Not like my opinion was so much different from everyone else in this thread. I seem to be in the majority on this one (which i admit is rare).
Why would that indicate I work for Tooth N' Nail? Is there a eastcoast/westcoast kind of battle going on between you guys and Tooth N' Nail?
