It wasn't up to standards in my opinion. At all. Read about it on the blog. I'll post an excerpt below. http://muzikdizcovery.blogspot.com/
Sadly I can't say the same for any other track on the album. It might need to grow on me. However there are not any other instant classics such as Dear Maria, Poppin Champaigne, Stay Awake, Remembering Sunday, and many others....I was disappointed there were no acoustic songs like Remembering Sunday. The one real slow song, Therapy, was not great and was depressing without standing out at all. Maybe it will grow on me, maybe not.

"Maybe it's not my weekend, but it's gonna be my year" is probably the best line of any song I've heard.

I've never thought they were good, just popped up like other bands that arent 'good'. They're just too generic. Theres so many other bands out there with huge amounts of talent. BryterJonah, you want to talk lyrics; look up Circle Takes The Square..and feel stupid yourself.

I don't know about you, but "How many roads does a man walk down before you can call him a man" is better than that..

You might be interested in the lyrics to the chorus in "I Wanna" by the All-American Rejects. They're extremely inspirational.
I wanna, I wanna, I wanna touch you,
You wanna touch me too.

lol, I went into Hot Topic today and they were playing it and I thought all the songs sounded the same. It's not my thing at all. I got a free Rockstar though and 10 percent off some shit earrings I bought.
I don't like your blog.
And how the well is that the best line ever that makes no sense to me at all.
"Maybe it's not my weekend, but it's gonna be my year"

By the standards set for this type of music, they haven't released anything consistantly solid other then Put Up Or Shut Up.

yeah. As much as I enjoy a lot of the songs listed, they are by no means classic. ATL hasn't released anything I'd consider classic at all.

I could never decide if I like these guys or not. I've known them for awhile since they're from the area but they've never really done anything for me. It was weird to see them take off and I didn't think they would get so big.

Why not just use the official All Time Low thread?
Today, as I was reading my issue of Alternative Press (I keep forgetting to cancel my subscription), I saw an article about All Time Low. It was mentioned several times that they sound like Jimmy Eat World.

I think this band has a lot of potential though. Put Up or Shut Up had a good solid edginess (that spelling looks weird) to it added in with the pop rock. So Wrong It's Right and Nothing Personal both sound over produced and lack the edge that the EP (and songs like Circles and Noel) have.
I know this band can make good music, but it just seems like they are letting the poppiness and production overtake them.

Man, I was thinking about going to the listening party but....decided not to. Anyway, the only way I can really listen to an album is in my car or at home. I don't know, Hot Topic makes me uncomfortable ha.

hahh and what's even weirder to me is that they sell "Fred" tshirts... I went in there one time and saw the 'average Hot Topic salesman' (tigh jeans&shirt jet black emo hair) and he was wearing this super tight Fred tshirt. So yeah, decided to not spend 40 minutes in there..

If The Beatles could've come up with a line like that maybe they'd still be together.

If The Beatles could've come up with a line like that maybe they'd still be together.
I can see it all now:
John Lennon stands up to storm out of the practice space. George is desperate to stop him; Paul is being Paul and just thinking about how great he is. Suddenly, Ringo jumps up:
"Guys, I've got it! Listen: 'maybe it's not my weekend...but it's going to be my year!' Effin' brilliant!"
There is a pause, then a furious rush to the instruments to work on this new song.
Fastforward fifty years: the beatles have become one of the top-selling pop-punk acts in the world and are on the cover of AP.
