sounds awesome. and much much better than the full length. no offense meant by that, but these new songs really are so much better.

we agree on the material issue, that's half of the reason we're putting this out three months after our album.

Just for the record, I thought Eleven Eleven was a great record, but this new track sounds good.
Feel free to send me a link to download this EP now. I hate waiting, haha.

In no particular order, my favorites are:
Gas Station Grillz
If Only Your Band Was..
Lying for a Living
Hope is Alive and Well
Captain Hardcore
I know you took some heat for the whole bro-breakdowns and death growls, but I thought you guys were breathing a little life into a genre that has so many stale parts floating around. Don't get me wrong, I love bands like FYS, SYG, and so on as much as the next guy, but Eleven Eleven made me realize there was something unique about you guys.
Then again, citing bands like Fugazi and Lifetime as influences is always a good sign.
You've got my vote to not eliminate things like breakdowns and whatnot from your sound, not that said vote counts for anything. When I first heard the growls and whatnot, I wasn't keen on it at all, but it grew on me hard.

I don't know if you read our blog about the situation on our myspace but we don't want to be the soundtrack to someone's broken nose or hate mosh. So we're cutting back on that sort of thing, also once you start touring you realize a lot about the music you're playing. I think anyone who's into the old stuff will like the new stuff and anyone who hated the old stuff for the ridiculous moshy tid bits will like the new stuff. Eleven Eleven was like a boxer going into a match not fully prepared, he can show potential and throw some good punches but he isn't going to knock anyone out half assing it.
what's your email, I'll send you the tracks to preview the ep.

Understandable. I can get on board with that mindset. "88 Says" is great, so you're 1/1 so far.
Email is summon.monsters@gmail.com -- thanks, dude.
Just as long as the music is still aggressive at times, that's enough for me.
