I know they're bad and that people don't like them. I'm one of them. But there are plently of bands just as band as Aiden who don't get as much hate as them that I'm wondering what's the difference between Aiden and the millions of other shitty bands that so many people hate them for?

I personally don't know what the hell is wrong with you guys. Just take it down a notch. I am totally for freedom of speech, and I'm not going to preach to you either on why you should like Aiden, because everyone likes different shit, but I don't believe all the hate is needed. If someone has never heard of the band, and reads the comments on this poll, they probably won't give a band that deserves attention a chance. Not liking any of the albums? Fine. But all the "No Aiden means good Aiden" and "Aiden sucks" shit is just immature. They ARE musicians, whether you like their sound or not, and deserve respect for their hard work and their vision. I personally love Aiden, have been to many of their shows, and met them and talked to them on a personal level which has made me love them even more. But that's beside the point. Their music, and they personally don't deserve this hate.

Back to the poll. Nightmare Anatomy is probably their best, but I did vote for Conviction because of the risk they took. Aiden are extremeist, or wiL Francis is, and they are constantly jumping rock/alternative genres which makes it hard to keep a general fan base. However, Aiden's hardcore fans love never knowing what to expect. I believe Nightmare Anatomy and Rain in Hell -EP are the strongest points in Aiden's thus far career. I think they are constantly trying to reinvent themselves, and that era really suited them well. However, Conviction is so different from anything they've ever written; it shows their musical capabilites.

A.) Bad first post.
B.) Aiden is not worth the high and mighty mounds of hyperbolic praise that they receive from scene kids who refuse to explore further into the post-hardcore genre and miss pout on bands like Hot Cross.
C.) While no they're not the worst band ever, they just rehash everything "emo"-leaning post-hardcore bands did before and just aren't as good.

Oh I don't think it was a bad first post 'Dymytry Vance'. We are all entitled to our own opinions. My comment was no different than yours except it was more in-depth. Like 'RiCCioLi' said, they've been verbally hated on for years. Out of any artist I listen to, I've never seen so much ragging on a band, and I don't understand why and felt like stating that.
