But if that's what you want, then it's a good school.
In terms of location its fine for me, its actually a bit better than I expected. I wanted to go northeast and that's probably the best I'll get into, unless I get into Cornell, which would be considerably hard, not to mention its in Ithaca.

You'll be really close to me as I go to LeMoyne, a small private school in Syracuse too. Cuse is a really good school, dont let people give you shit. We have one bitchin mall too. Hopefully the bball team is better next year.
sweet :) syracuse has its ups and downs, but I might like them. I'm laid-back so I don't need the hype of a big city, syracuse sounds like a pretty good match for me.

My grades were average..I think that my GPA went up alot when I took this one AP class and 2 more honors. Maybe like a 3.5 or so.

Architecture and engineering aren't always the same thing.
Architects deal more with the appearance and the functions of a building (more art related), engineers just build them. They do have a few things in common, but engineers are more technical. Honestly, I find engineering boring. I still don't know if I'll stay in architecture, I might switch to anything art related.

a lot of it goes hand in hand...then again it all depends on the kinda engineering you do. Mechanical...then yes...but chemical or biomed engineering...probably not.

Well, compared to Ithaca, Syracuse is a hundred times more civilized, and considering what I'm majoring in I won't need to or won't be able to go out that much, so I'm somewhat satisfied.

Thanks. I know it's not that bad, I went to summer college '05. I got a taste of what Cornell is (and Ithaca) and I really loved it. I would really love to go to Cornell, but we'll see. For now, Syracuse seems like a good place for me.

thanks! but no i haven't decided yet. i'm still waiting to hear from notre dame and bc. but if i don't get into either of those it will be syracuse most likely.

Yeah, we get in SO much trouble for dress code..like the littlest things even. It's so annoying.

But our senior class is like that too. We're awful. They hate us. Almost every week we have to have a meeting with our head nun because we did something to piss her off.
