I'm curious as to what website you might prefer to check out a band on? Like do you prefer to check out a band's Facebook profile over their Myspace one, or vice versa? Or is there a completely different site you go to for music. Just curious to see what others are doing.

I like myspace, simply because it gives me a reason to have a myspace. usually bands myspaces are pretty organized (some are cluttered with ads), and i usually go there to look at tour information before anything else.

MySpace for sure. I use MySpace to check out new bands.. you can easily listen to a few songs and check tour dates.
i only use facebook to "become a fan".. i also use last.fm to check out new bands..

Music is the only reason Myspace even exists anymore, in my opinion. It's certainly the only reason I even have one at this point.

Myspace, for all the reasons that were already said. Sometimes I use Last.fm or Purevolume too, but mostly Myspace.

last.fm is actually my go to because it gives a good description of the sound of a band and what other bands they're comparable to, but myspace > facebook for music any day of the week

Myspace or Purevolume

I wish people/bands still went on Purevolume b/c it has the best format for listening to their music while checking tour dates and blogs. Course it's mostly useless b/c many bands don't have their information updated.

Myspace is still the go-to for music for me.

MySpace is good for listening to their music and looking at them as a band. Facebook is good for "becoming a fan". Last.fm is good too; the recommendations are pretty good. Then again, so is Spotify. It's a good program. :D

Like other people said, music is the only reason use my MySpace anymore. Purevolume is the other site I use for music a lot because it always has tons of free downloads. I have never once used Facebook for anything music related.
