1.) Panic at the Disco has an official thread. Posting this in that, rather than creating a new thread, likely would have been a good idea.

2.) They've alluded to it sounding like the Beatles, the Beach Boys, and other classic pop rock like that, so I assume it'll be a continuation of their last album, hopefully with fewer gimmick tracks.

I would love the resulting lulz in listening to a Pet Sounds imitation album from Panic. Do want.

1. Please type at least a little better than that... I know you can!
2. I would assume the second, I like both.

Pete Wentz mentioned that it sounded like a follow up to A Fever You Can't Sweat Out on twitter. I hope to god he's not lying.

agreed.

And yes pete did said "it was like a more natural progression from A Fever You Can't Sweat Out" but that album was brilliant also because of the lyrics and all of the lyrics there were written by Ryan (who left panic with Jon because of "musical diffrences") so unless brendon and spencer got some trick hidden inside those vests I don't think the 3rd one would be as brilliant.

Actually it has been said that Ryan and Jon had no involvement in the new album as they were already concentrating on the new stuff for them. So Ryan didn't write the lyrics.

Incredible news. I hadn't read anywhere that Ryan had no involvement. Ryan can now fail miserably without bringing Brendon down with him. I'm happy.

panic themselves said months ago that it would sound more like Pretty Odd, but pete wentz tweeted a few days ago that it sounds more like a natural progresson from Fever. not sure what to believe. also, can someone provide a source for the statement that Ryan and Jon had no involvement in this new album? because as i understood it, they were as involved as ever.

yeah it was planned to sound like Pretty Odd but then after Ryan and Jon quit the band they sorta make new stuff without Jon nor Ryan's involvements in it and those new demos are the ones that Pete tweeted as the "natural progression from Fever" and yeah Ryan and Jon has no involvement whatsoever with the new album.

Somehow I think this has got to do with the low sales number for Pretty Odd. Hope theyre not that low.

I hope that's a joke. Ryan basically carried the band.

Holy shit, does every fucking guy have to be a dick. This forum's boring enough, if you discourage new threads there will be nothing to do.

Just listened to a clip of the new single and it's not too bad. More similar to first album than second.
