Im an art student at Parsons (art college) in New York city. Ive been in and out of bands for a few years, but im lookiing to start a SERIOUS post-hardcore/screamo type band here in the city.
I play guitar, would like to sing some as well. I would appreciate another guitarist as well as a bass player and drummer.
Influences would be : He is Legend, My American Heart, The Audition, Underoath, Emanuel, Emery, ect.

Its fine, theres alot of work the first year if you have to go in as Foundation. only a couple of majors are direct entry ( meaning you are one of the only majors where all their classes are based on your actual major). I didnt have foundation, so i was super lucky. You get access to some pretty good connections too, i interned with Stuff magazine last semester and got to shoot some for Victory Records.
Do you play at all? cause at Parsons, nobody is really into the post-hardcore/screamo scene or anything. Im trying to put a band together here and its just been super hard.

Word, I'm coming down for Graphic Design...Foundation sound like a great time, haha.
Yea I play guitar and a little bass.
Lead singer and I can play guitar and bass as well... I have experience. This is an old thread, but my last band broke up a while ago, and craigslist and MySpace classifieds have left me demoralized.
I live in Queens... 30 mins away from the city, but I'm always there.
