im liking it... they are really finding their own unique sound. moreso then on Say it Like you Mean It or even BOATS. I mean, I loved BOATS but at the same time the album was truly the begining of this transgression towards the new sound. You could hear it on some songs being similar to the older materia (Surprise, Surprise) and others branching off more (Ready).

BOATS was a very overrated album.


Considering the fact that it wasn't hyped AT ALL and had absolutely NO PROMOTION and yet it is an excellent album, I would have to say the exact opposite. BOATS was an extremely underrated album. How can an album that gets virtually no attention be overrated?

i think this song stinks dudes. its so ehh generic and boring. i understand those pop punk days are long gone tsl but i figured it'd be something better than that like the rain cloud and i. also i think "ready" is such an overrated song. yeah max is the man but i had no clue up until a few months ago which parts he was singing. say anything is an amazing band but i think photography is such a much better song even though their both 1 in the same. both slow and have this huge build up. but i'm not trashing boats i'm saying i dont like this new song and i think its weird for them to do an encore with cheek to cheek... maybe leaving? but not cheek to cheek even though thats a rather old song (but also is leaving).i just dont get these guys anyways i'm out

I think what everyone is underestimating is the fact that BOATS wasn't that new of material. TSL Wrote alot of songs a long long time ago before boats, and alot got chopped because of Geffen. Geffen was trying to mold TSL into something they were not. They fought back, they didn't want to become like other bands i don't think. Songs like Ready or Inspired by the $ sign. Just rebel against the label, i bet classic jazz was cut because of the fact that it referd to smoking weed and im sure Geffen didn't approve of that. Those were awesome and i love that cd, it is under rated but in my opinion i think it was jus an album that was prolonged. Their new stuff sounds awesome i like where its going

so i downloaded at last and i can only say - great song, i wouldn't tell it's boring, it has this chorus like many times but i really like it so i don't mind :-)
