Talk to the one you love on the phone just so you feel like you have some sort of connection going over the airwaves. You say ‘hello’, cut out all the other stuff and then leave it at ‘goodbye‘. Just leave yourself in front of a dream with a mirror behind you so that you can’t see the reflection. You can’t see the fucked up life you’ve started leading or the point where the fuck up actually occurred. I think you are the fuck up, but you insist on keeping it under your hat like a storm cloud. Sometimes you just keep on waiting for the sun to poke through but those days are getting less and less as far as you’re concerned. You’re creating something out of nothing and it’s taking you further than your own front door. It’s fun to wish you are part of the audience, it’s fun to be the one behind the curtain. One of these days you’ll pluck up the courage to be the one that steps out in front of it and says: ‘you fuckers better watch this world change, and you better be behind my back with hearts held high. This nights for you, and everyone else that always acted like they never had a clue’. They always look so love torn and they’re always holding back. Keeping the breath in because you don’t like the sound it makes when it gets out. It’s like dropping ink into a glass of cool, clear water. Watch the colours stain the perfection. Listen to your voice as you hold them in the palm or your hand. Remember you’re only the star of the show because you got a moon marking out your spotlight and a night time sky to fall back on if you forget your lines.

Amazing, as usual. I especially like the tiny bit of dialogue. I think the phrase "fuck up" is a little overused, but it's good emphasis. It's just awkward at "where the fuck up occured". Nice ending, too.
These people just don't know what art is.
