Anyone else listen to this band? I'm listening for the first time and I'm ridiculously impressed. Great grab from Facedown.

The instrumental work is phenominal. I'm absolutely loving what they have posted so far. And I'm actually a fan of the vocals :shrugs: I think it works with the music really well.

Yeah I think it was on the second song on there was the only one I didn't really care for them but this is really nice. I had seen ads for them, and even though I like a lot of Facedown's roster I didn't think too much about them because I didn't want another breakdown breakdown breakdown but this is a breathe of fresh air.

Exactly, I was the same way, but I saw they were playing at a music fest I'm going to be at, so I had to check 'em out. Happy I did. Looks like another great release is going to be coming out this year.

Band was decent live. I really liked the recordings so I expected to like them more then I did, but maybe it was because there were other great bands playing the rest of the night that they got outshined. I have a feeling I'll like them alot more if they continue down the post-metal direction they're headed.

I saw them at Cornerstone on FaceDown night. I liked their live show alot. The vocalist get's very emotional when he is performing and gives it his all. I just got the vibe that they were very thankful for the opportunities they have been giving and are very thankful to be able to play shows. But yeah, I like them. The song Hope is very good live, IMO.

Not really, It has more singing parts, and the metal is a little more leaning towards metalcore instead of the sludgier sound of SOE.

Yeah same here, I am a large at least, XL if the stuff runs small or shrinks. I pre-ordered an Agraceful hoodie one time but after I washed it once, I couldn't wear it because it was way too small, I would have looked like one those scene kids at the show with clothes that are wayyyy toooo tight, so I just gave it to a smaller friend who liked them lol.

Yeah a friend of mine got it and I can't really put into words how jealous I am. Plus the stores by me are like the real mainstream stuff like Target or K-Mart that really doesn't have that great of selection or a few Christian book stores that don't really do a good job of keeping on the up and up with new releases. Creator just came out on Tuesday! They put out two albums this year.

I'm pretty sure you're right. They also re-did a song from The Everlasting EP.

Wow, that's ridiculous.

Are any of their older releases available anywhere? I saw this band awhile ago and was impressed but didn't have cash on me at the time to buy anything.

Just DL'd Creator earlier, but I haven't listened to it yet. Hoping it's all as good as the one song I listened to on their myspace.

It's over an hour and only ten tracks. How the fuck is that not long.

You misread me. I said I don't find it to be too long. It is long but I have no problem with that. I did not find myself bored throughout its duration. Sorry for the confusion.

Love 'em. They've perfected the awesome lyrical line into a breakdown. Love it.

I really enjoy it a lot. Brightest is definately still my favorite track

Considering there are 10 minutes of slience, then a secret track at the end of the 10th track that would make 11 tracks in a matter of over 50 minutes so each song averages out to what, 5-6 minutes? I don't get bored with the tracks and I don't find it too long at all  if anything I'm more impressed at their song writing that they can pull off metalcore and write such long/interesting songs. As someon in a metalcore band I know that's not an easy thing to do.

Listening to this for the first time now, finally. I am loving it, as stated before, the breakdown in Brightest is great, and these songs really sound good. By far, the best heavy record I have listened to this year.

I didn't care for it when I first heard them on myspace, but then I downloaded the album, and liked it. They were here last Wednesday so I went and saw them and pickedup a shirt and poster along wtih the album.

Brightest is a great song. The album is really really great. I think I still enjoy Sons Of Thunder more this year, but the fact that they released two great albums in the same year is impressive.

I guess that is huge for me they did two records in a year. Sons Of Thunder was good, but for me, Hands just blew everything else I've heard this year out of the water.

Should hear it for the first time on Tuesday. My package has finally arrived in the UK but I got it delivered to my parent's house because I've been moving house. But my sister is dropping by tomorrow so the time may finally be here! I am so unbelievably excited. The positive response I have seen around on the internet has just keeps increasing my anticipation. Ahhhhhh! Cannot wait!

Yeah, it's definitely better than Creator, which is saying something considering how much I loved Creator. With that said, I'm not sure if I like it more than Sounds of the Earth, but my goodness, it's up there.
