I was thinking of my favorite intros to songs on my iPod, and I decided to see which, of my favorites is most popular on this site.
(Remember, you're rating the intro, not the whole song).
By the way, this was really tough for me to decide.

I might be a little bias though because Fat Lip has been my ringtone for the past 3 years lol

The intro to Utah is better than the rest of the whole album. So that.
Prequel to the Sequel is amazing.
That whole record is incredible.

If the intro to Welcome Home was the whole song, I'd still listen to it.

I'm really surprised that Trademark hasn't gotten any votes yet, it's one of my favorites on that list, beating Sum 41 and Emarosa by far.

Tough call between Welcome Home and Prequel to the Sequel...but Between the Buried and Me will always take it.

Can I go with an Other and say the intro to Fell In Love Without You by Motion City Soundtrack, however short it is?
Blink/AVA. I do love Coheed, though.

Even though Welcome Home is entirely overrated, maybe the only overrated song by Coheed, the intro is pretty spectacular. I'd choose them over any other intro anyday.

overrated? really?

Prequel To The Sequel's opening guitar riff will forever be one of my favorites of all time.

overrated? really?
Yes, overrated. Coheed is an amazingly talented band, but they're only known for Welcome Home. I mean come on! They have SO MANY way better songs that deserve more attention than Welcome Home does. Ask anyone if they've heard of them, and you're gonna hear "Oh yeah, I love Welcome Home. That song's the shit." (Mainly because the majority of population has played that ONE song on Rock Band.) Unless they took the time to check Coheed out, that's the only song they'll know.
Don't get me wrong, I love the song as much as any fan, I just feel that there are many other songs that could contribute to the love of Coheed and Cambria, yet not many people give them a listen. Therefore, Welcome Home, in my opinion, is overrated.

The Coheed intro is nothing but epic. I do love Carousel though. But Coheed wins.

this.
but i voted BTBAM... genius.
On second thought, any BTBAM intro is greatness... Selkies, Alaska, Informal Gluttony, White Walls, that band is made of epic.

Because Delonge ripped part of the intro from "Carousel" and put it into "The Adventure."

Perfect intro to a perfect song.

Why are blink and AVA one entity? If they weren't, I'd have voted for Carousel. Since they are, my vote goes to Coheed.

Oh. The Cheshire Cat version of Carousel sucks. I would have voted for the Buddha/MTTS intro.
