Running a record label/band/business is a lot more complicated for someone like Tom Delonge then it is for the local skate-punk-screamo band down the street. I say we let them do what they need to.

If I can remember correctly, didn't Box Car Races do a smaller size (not arena) venue club tour their first time? I really hope that Tom sticks with that idea.

After hearing "The Adventure",I hope Tom has extremely pro-tooled his voice on the rest of the songs. The music sounds like it could be really good, but Tom's weak, gargled voice seriously holds it back from being the epic stadium album he wants. He said he was listening to bands like U2, Pink Floyd, and the Police for this album - those bands all have good lead singers, who can actually sing.

i have "the adventure" on my computer. it's a pretty good song. i liked blink and boxcar. this band is ALL HYPE!!! i don't think there has ever been a band promote themselves this much without officially releasing a single song! has anyone heard the macbeth podcast? it's just the members of ava arrogantly rambling on about how they are the best band ever. that's a pretty hard claim to make w/o anything to back it up. tom is stuck up and full of him self. "the adventure" is a good song, and i hope the rest of the cd is that good if not better. more than that i hope that i stop reading tom tell everyone how awesome he is and how he can make a band better than everyone else. also, i think it's dumb that he made a statement that we couldn't talk about his stupid band on here. THIS IS AN OPEN FORUM ABOUT THE MUSIC SCENE!!!! TOM!!! GET OVER YOURSELF!!!! also, what dumb kid is going to go on a site and buy a shirt for 18 bucks from a band that hasn't released a single song?!?!?!?! and why aren't more people annoyed with this? if the band is all about bringing the scene into an era of better music, they should probably either release a song or two on their myspace or hold off on the arrogant "we are better than you" hype until they are ready to release some real music to back up those claims!

Yeah, the song isn't really that good. From what I've heard, it's not on the album (renamed or in any form). Oh, and you suck at name-dropping. Not subtle at all.
