I'm going to this game. First time we have had this much hype on campus in a long time. Is tomorrow the day that Gonzaga loses its first WCC game this year? I sure hope so.

Gonzaga seems like they've had some troubles on the road in their conference (not losing any of course). I think this could be the day they go down.

i went to highschool with brandon worthy for a while. he led the league in scoring as a freshman with 20 plus a game in one of the toughest leagues in northern california

okay i was at the game and i must say adam morrison is amazing...the best player i have ever seen in person...but he is a douchebag...he is so disrespectful as an opponent. he is always talking to the ref...he never gets shit called on him...plus after every three he puts his hands up like he is god's gift to the world. i am not a bitter fan...Gonzaga played better and they deserved to win...morrison is a baller but i expected better character out of him.

Yeah ive seen him do alot of questionable stuff, that would have got less talented players a fowl or technical.
That being said the guy is the shit, and knows it...if he wants to show off, grow a stash, and act like hes gods gift to the world fine by me, just keep putitng up 44 a game.
I aslo like Gonzaga but after them watching them play recently i think they will loose in the 2nd round of the tourney, i hope i eat my words though.

I would not go that far.

They just look out of sorts a lot, they rely way to much on Morrison. But if you have a player like him i guess that should be your game plan. I dont know, i hope they go far in march, i just dont see it.

I'd like to see the Bull Dogs - actually it's just Adam Morrison (the rest of his team just watches him play) - take on Duke in the tourney so that Morrison can get his ass kicked by Redick and the rest of the Blue Devils, but I don't think that's going to happen because Gonzaga's not good enough to make it that far. <-----Run on sentence

I know that, but there game plan is to get the best player the ball. He takes over the game, and they play a style that allows him to do that. The zags have consistently dominated the conference for how long now..
They will win next year as well, without Morrison.
And since you bring up Duke, your same arugument can be made about Redick. Take him out of Duke, and what do you have?

They play the style to give the ball to Morrison and the rest of the team just passes him the ball. So exactly my point, without him they're nothing special. The bulldogs have consistently dominated the conference because they've had good players, not because of the players on the team now other than Morrison. Redick averages 2.6 assists per game and Morrison 1.6. Maybe that's cuz he's a forward and redick's a guard, but whatever. The WCC is shitty, so they could still have a chance without morrison, but it would definitely make the wcc more interesting and gonzaga wouldn't be in the top 25.

Obviously not as good with morrison but they would shape their offense around batista who is in my opinion one of the top power fowards in college basketball. Gonzaga has players other then morrison but in a game like this morrison completely took over and didnt need much help

The thing is, Batista doesn't seem to show up until late in big games, when it's usually too late (it was Washington game I think that made me believe that, one of their losses), and while Raivio is a legit threat, he can also have some terrible games where he turns it over, and they lose from it.

I think Batisita doesnt show up late in big games because thats when Morrison shines the brightest. Without Morrison, Batista would be even more impressive then he is now. Thats just my opinion
you guys are missing the point there has never been an argument about his abilties as a player but his integrity as a person.

that's just not true, they've been in the top 25 consistently for the past 6 years, and they did plenty of those without Morrison.

Thats what i was trying to say. They are good with morrison, they would be good withtout morrison.
