Here's this weeks Entertainment Update for 2/17. There wasn't as much going around this week, so sorry for the the lack of news, but I tried to add other items. As always, if you have anything else for me please let me know. Also, thanks for all the supportive comments last week, I'm glad people are liking this new feature.
News and Rumors:
A Reno 911 movie is in the works entitled Reno 911!: Miami, Paul Rudd has joined the cast, where the cops of Reno visit the national police convention in Miami.
The Captain America movie is anticipated for release in 2009, The script is still unfinished but Arad expects it to be out in 09
X3: The Last Stand, will indeed be the final X-Men film according to directer Brett Ratner. They better have Gambit in this then.
Sin City 2 is shaping up to be a prequel, but they're still in talks right now. Clive Owen hasn't signed on yet.
Stallone is going to be directing the 4th Rambo movie.
Broken Lizard fans will be excited to know their upcoming movie "Beerfest" is currently shooting, it stars Paul Soter (Foster) and Erik Stohandske (Rabbit) as brothers who inheirt their grandfathers Beer Hall in Germany. And find out about the top secret Beer Olympics that put Oktoberfest to shame.
Alfred Molina (Doc Ock) isn't going to be in Spider-Man 3, no matter what you might hear.
Also for Spiderman 3, They have casted Captian Stacy (James Crowwell, he was in Babe) and Gwen Stacy (Bryce Dallas Howard, she was in The Village) thx: JimmyAteEarth
Christopher Walken is joining the cast of "We Own the Night" currently signed on are Joaquin Phoenix and Mark Walhberg. Walken will play the father where one son becomes a police officer like him while the other son goes on to manage a club ran by the Russian mafia.
The upcoming "The Bourne Ultimatum" starring Matt Damon isn't expected to be the final Bourne film according to the producer Marshall. With the possibility of 5 films but thinks its up to Damon if it were to continue on.

In the Will Smith Update: Will Smith will be making a guest star on the Indian version of American Idol, entitled Indian Idol. He will also be presenting an award at the upcoming Oscars.
The villian opposite of Daniel Craig (007) in the next Bond movie "Casino Royale" is going to be Mads Mikkelsen (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0586568/) whom will be playing Le Chiffre. While the newest bond girl is Eva Green (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1200692/) who will be playing Vesper Lynd.
New Line is looking to make Freddy Vs Jason 2, just no word on when its gonna happen. They're also looking into a Freddy vs Jason vs Michael Meyers.
Could Paris Hilton be playing the part of Mother Teresa in a biopic? I hope not, or we're all going to hell.

Conan O' Brien visited Finland this week to meet his "long lost twin" President Tarja Halonen, whom Conan takes responsiblity for getting her reelected, footage of his tour should air next week. This news has been around for a little while but I think I forgot to post it last time, Futurama has been greenlit for 4 Direct to DVD movies which will start recording at the end of July, they have yet to come back to television but this might be a good sign.
Martin Lawarance is joining the cast of "Wild Hogs" currently starring John Travolta and Tim Allen, where they are three men who are experiencing a midlife crisis only to head off on their bikes to encounter the Hells Angels.
Also it seems that they're making an 11th Friday the 13th film hoping to have it out by, you guessed, it Friday Oct. 13th
Matthew Fox has joined the cast of "We Are Marshall" the true story of the 1970 plane crash that nearly killed the entire West Virginia Marshall Football team. The film also stars Matthew MacConaughey.
The Narnia sequel "Prince Caspian" will bring back Aslan as well as a number of new characters. Including Badger and Reepicheep, his mouse.

Some great news for you fans of Harry Potter, Oldman has started talks to join the next Harry Potter.
To those of you who own PSP's there is some bad news, it looks like the lagging sales of PSP dvd's (UMD) aren't selling well at all and studios are putting a halt on putting their movies on UMD format. Sony however is trying to pick up sales by packaging UMD's w/ DVD's and working on an adapter where you could hook your PSP up to your TV to play the UMD
