You're right, it's clever, not ironic. Ironic would be like if they were trying to say that no one ever listens to them. But the context they use it in, which is a speaker covering up someone's personality is not ironic at all.

Nah man thats pretty subjective. case in point, i hate the spill canvas and so do alot of people,but that was all over the main page at one point. You can't argue that they generate conversation on here. No matter what type, its still something.
