But the 2nd was totally different and a totally different plot.

I'm not sure if I'm gonna like the third one, they should of let it end how it ended in the 2nd one, if you get what I'm saying.

The sequel's already coming out soon and it continues off of Saw 2 I think.

I think the Saw movies are horrible and overrated. But yeah, that's just me.

i thikn horrror and suspense are used interchangably too often. i do thnik though, that saw 2 fits in the horror genre. it's pretty scary , in the horror sense, compared to most "horror" movies out recently (ring, ring2...)

Maybe it is just me but there isnt anything scary about it. Never really makes you jump, just makes you think and be surprised.

Horror movies are the ones that make you look over your shoulder after you see it, no matter how much you tell yourself you dont think about it.

Saw 2 is pretty much a slasher film, only it's set in a Saw kind of style. Saw was a great film I thought, but this felt like another madman slasher picture, and it doesn't deliver as much.

Yeah.I agree because when I'm watching "Saw" I'm not like "OH MY GOD!I'M SO SCARED!"
It's more like, "Holy shit!Did he just cut off his foot?"

Ya the SWOT team went to the house where they grabbed the ip address from the video feed but the video feed was going through a routing place which wsa the fake house so they were lead to that.

I thought the second one was actually really scary. I've seen both (don't really remember the first completely). I think the ideas are genius, and the way that the movies are shot are very suspenseful.

Did anyone else know that the director (or somebody else important dealing with the movie) died a few months ago?

I thought it was worth the 10 bucks fee to see it. Pretty solid movie. Although I thought the first one was better - pretty much because SAW II looked like a really forced movie - a death house, kinda been done before,

its pretty good, i don't like the fact that the girl is gonna be taking over. The reason the guy's plan is so thought out and good is because he's an engineer, how could a crack whore match the wits of an engineer?

Saw II really sucked....no story, horrible acting, and the gory really wasn't all that great. The PC ended also seemed forced and pointless.

Hostel was a much better no brainer "slasher/horror/suspense" movie.
