lucky its only there on the chorus, sounds like 1 of those baseball game songs haha the vocals were incredible as always but the acoustic ending pretty much saved the song.

I don't think there's a point of putting out a solo album for this guy... his main band isn't even that big yet, and the solo stuff sounds like soft Emarosa. I could see if it was like Polka or something, but none of this stuff would sound out of place on an Emarosa record.

I agree totally, jonny must've said something that didn't sit right with jason, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't post news about his music, this site needs a more unbiased view on the industry, everyone has their own opinions and tastes in music, and when I come to a music news site, I would like to have an impartial news feed, not one that sucks the balls of blink, thrice, and brand new, gotta learn to keep business and personal life seperate

yes, they had A fan base. i wasnt a "fan," but i did start listening to them in 07, downloaded their music, didnt really care much. i didnt add them on myspace until jonny came into the band, not even 30 K fans compared to the 100 K that jonny left w/ dgd. truth is, they owe their careers to jonny.

jonny joining definitely helped them but a singer doesn't make a band, yes he's good but imagine if it was only him singing, not many people would listen now put some pretty good guitars, bass and drums behind it and it makes it a whole lot better
i think another one of the reasons jonny joining helped them is because all singing and no screaming is going to be more popular because there are still a lot of people who don't like screaming. so in a sense they did go more mainstream in deciding that they weren't going to do away with those kinds of vocals
in conclusion i'm just saying that one man doesn't make a band, if you have ever been in a band you'd know this

i understand what youre saying, obviously 1 guy doesnt make the entirety of the band, but 1 guys popularity, really can be the reason a band gets immensely popular. imagine APC without maynard. i guarantee atleast half of their base is due to the tool fans. you dont sell 188,000 albums on your bands debut out of sheer luck.... i would actually say that emarosa would be a lot bigger in the scene if they had a screamer and breakdowns, since thats basically what the scene is. on the other hand, they really can get signed by a big label and be mtv friendly since they have no screaming or breakdowns. my basic response to the idiot who said jonny shouldnt be a solo artist, is the fact that emarosa was basically at square 1 when jonny joined, jonny was already a big name, and still is the only recognizable name on the label.
