I voted for Happy Gilmore because I'm pretty sure it was the first Adam Sandler movie I ever saw and has been a favorite ever since. A lot of the others are close behind though, especialy Billy Madison.

Happy Gilmore fa sho.
Is it just me, but is The Longest Yard the exact same as Vinnie Jones' film Mean Machine. All the done was swap the sports from football (soccer) to American football. In the Longest Yard, they even called their team Mean Machine. Does anyone know if they bought the rights to re-do it, but American?

1 vote for Bulletproof!!!!! That movie was hilarious, everyone should go rent it right now.
Archie Moses (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001191/): This is a '70s porno. You know how I can tell? Because the guy's dick has sideburns.

The Wedding Singer is pretty much my favorite movie of all time. I know, that's odd and probably not too terribly cool, but shit that movie just has it all.

It was between Punch Drunk Love and Spanglish for me, overall I think I like Spanglish better but if the question is which film is he better in, I'd say Punch Drunk Love.
It was such a departure for him and he acted with such restrained intesity. It really worked well for me.
I was never really into Happy Gilmore or Billy Madison, if I had to pick my favorite comedy of his it'd be The Wedding Singer. That was the first time I really thought he nailed it without relying on childish humor for most of the film.
Little Nicky made me laugh too though.

but happy gilmore has Shooter McGavin and Chubbs Peterson, so it has to win.

I went with Billy Madison. Happy Gilmore is a close second for me. 8 Crazy nights is missing. I love that movie. It's absolutely hilarious. Ya it's childish, but so are all of his movies. I am a huge Adam Sandler fan, and I recommend 8 crazy nights strongly if you've never seen it.
Billy Madison. OH BILLY. I HOPE ONE DAY YOU FIND WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR...HERE'S A NICE PIECE OF SH!T!
Yeah, that poop in the bag burning scene is probably the most hillarious thing in a movie. Ever. And Eric is hillaroius. That movie is epic, simply put.

i piced punch drunk love just because it was hella weird and different from all of his other stuff......however if movies he directed also constituted for candidates in this poll.....it would deffenetly have to be grandmas boy....that movie is so fucking funny......especialy the part where that one guy was beating off to the laura croft action figure and his friends mom catches him in the bathroom and he accidently comes on his mom....hahahahaha....its fuckin comedy genious!!!

the inclusion of "going overboard" was for laughs, right?
everyone will say happy gilmore and billy madison, naturally.
i will say wedding singer, despite my hate for drew barrymore.
