"The Ring" ending?

Okay, so I just watched "The Ring" last night. The last time I saw it was in the theaters, but I'm still really confused by the ending. After the lead woman finds her ex dead, she sees the assistant. Is the assistant going to the apartment or leaving it?? And is the assistant the girl all grown up? This movie made no sense to me...my friends told me that the girl and assistant are the same person, but I think they just might be dumbasses.:confused:

The movie did suck...it was worse the second time I saw it. It didn't seem as ridiculous the first time I watched it though.

Oh, and that happened when I went too. It was all these 12 year old girls with their 'dates' acting completely retarded, talking loudly and screaming throughout the movie when there was no need to scream. Some old guy started yelling at them to shut up, and then security came in and told them all to leave if they couldn't be quiet. None of the bastards left though...but at least they stayed fairly quiet.

thast exactly what happened when i saw it but they didnt stay quiet. People started chucking candy and popcorn at them haha.

also- if u get the dvd i think it has extra endings to that movie. The lady puts the tape in the movie store.

We rented the dvd, and it was this stupid short thing with the woman asking some people if they knew the Morgan's, mixed with a bunch of those quick clips, from the mini movie, and then ending at the video store. It was absolutely retarded. And yet I'm terrified right now because I'm home alone and that girl scares the shit out of me.

The Japanese ring sucked, ive seen better made for tv movies, the story lined sucked and the "video" was only 5 seconds long and probably wouldn't have scaryed my little brother. Japanesse tolerance must not be very high because there was nothing scary about that movie at all.

Just out of curiousity, did any of you guys notcie that you could see one of the crew members standing up in a shot? It's near the end when they are at their house check it out, I found it rather funny.

haha, It's at the part where finish letting the girl out of the hole at the camp site, then the police come so they go back to their house and the kid is lying on the floor I think, so they take the kid back to his room and as they are carrying him you can see in this dark corner one of the crew members stand up near the end of the shot lol. I found it hysterical.

haha, yeah man, I initially thought it was a ghost then as I watched the rest of the movie it had no relivance at all lol. Yeah tell me some other ones I find these things fucking hilarious, actually why dont you start up a thread of movie fuck ups...
