I wasn't saying any thing about this being a bad post, you just didn't really give us something to discuss.

No, habitat loss is not more important then human rights in any way and for any type of person.

How would what hurt people? Give us something to go on, and we'll talk about it. What do you propose??

Most furniture uses quick growing wood that is planted, cut, and then replant on company owned lots.

The human race requires a healthy enviroment to survive. If it was a question of saving life of one person or one tree, I think anybody would say save the person. But when it comes down to Driving an SUV that gets horrible milage, over a smaller fuel effecant car, because teh SUV is bigger or looks cooler, then we need to re-asses our prioreties.

How many Geo-metros can make it up Mt. Hood? Um, none. I am not going to not go to the mountain to keep the air clean, life is about enjoying it, not preserving it for further generations to ruin. So when it comes between cleaner air and my enjoyment, call me crazy buy I will choose my enjoyment

How many times are you going to ask him that?

Brandnew is the interviewer of politicians I wish we had. Whenever they skirt around an answer, he'd ask the question again. And again. And again. Its funny.

Zachs not on line how can he answer the question?

This may surprise you, but i don't sit around in the same thread waiting for replies. Any way, what do I do? I recycle everything that can be recycled, I use bidegradble materials as often as possible, I walk, or ride my bike rather then driving, I turn off the lights when I live the room, If i'm going some wher iI can't walk to, I take a bus. Lots of little really, but its really all I can do right now.

vegetarians and like, peta people are more or less stupid, well not really animal lovers, because its cool if people love their pets or whatever, but when people send hate mail to senators that pass bills for lack of animal rights and shit like that, it's completely uncalled for, i think that if an animal is dumb enough to get herded in a big fenced in area, taken on a truck and chopped up, than it's not exactly 'equal' to humans in my mind, and if an animal becomes a food product, there are a lot more of them, like cows, cows aren't exactly on the verge of being extinct
