Dragon Ball vs Dragon Ball Z

DBZ was amazing (and better) at first, but as it continued it got absolutely RIDICULOUS. Dragon Ball though was consistnently great without getting "too much".

So DBZ begining > Dragon Ball

Dragon Ball, though I honestly enjoy the manga more than the show. The stories, characters and humor were just so much better. Sure, DBZ was increasingly epic in scale, but it was also drawn out and repetitive. It doesn't touch Toriyama's earliest work.

I prefer dragon ball. (Sad to admit I liked either of them though...) at least with dragonball the plot moves. With dbz, a single fight may take 10+ episodes. Ridiculous.

Dragon Ball Z for me, (even though I found it fairly annoying when Goku spent soemthing along the lines of seven episodes running on "Snake Way" in order to come back to life).

Dragon Ball completely. Dragon Ball Z was alright first season. But then it got to the point where it was like "What do you mean, he died again, got brought back, this time stronger? Didn't that happen last season?"

dragon ball z was epic, it took like 10 shows to show an entire fight... granted i was little when this was out so i didnt know any better, but still... it was epic
