The Stickup Posts Two New Songs

Burlington Ontario's The Stickup (http://www.myspace.com/thestickup) has just finished recording a five song EP with producer Brian Moncarz (Pilate, The Junction) entitled Please Disease; the EP should be available across Canada this Spring. This past weekend the band supported their good friends Silverstein at the first of two hometown tour kick off show's at the Mod Club in Toronto, and passed out a few samplers featuring two songs off the upcoming release. To please the masses, the band has posted those two songs, "The Speaker Takes the Stage" and "Call Off the Search Party" on their MySpace (http://www.myspace.com/thestickup) page.

The Junction cancelled on Saturday. I was pissed, they were the only reason I went to the show.

Silverstein surprisingly played a tight set.

i missed the friday show, i went to the saturday show and was also disappointed that the junction had to cancel, silverstein were really good, although the sound wasn't all together that good from side stage, fun time though.
