because aberdien is a band who just wants their music to be heard, they want to get all their stuff out there. they don't necessarily care about their record sales, and how much money they possibly make. they are all about having as many people as possible hear their stuff, and purevolume gives them that oppurtunity.

personally i won't even consider buying an album... even one from one of my favourite bands without first hearing the entire thing, i just do not have that kind of faith in musicians these days. Putting up the entire album makes sense to me, because its going to leak anyway so why the hell not, you might as well let people know what they are in for because i don't know many people that take chances with albums anymore, especially with reletively unknown bands.

That being said, their music is good, so far.

I'm disappointed that they did "With Blackened Sights" acoustic. That song was pretty good before.

I have been trying to warn everybody this band is amazing!! I am glad they finally get a bit more exposure on ap.net with a real post about them in the news. They have been puting songs from the new album on their purevolume for two months at least...
Everybody must have at least a listen, this migh be one of the best album of the year.
