Check out a pic (http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&imageid=515120684&friendID=18562572) from the "in progress" setup from NJ's Newest Venue, the School Of Rock. The new venue will be located in South Hackensack, NJ - right by Paramus, and right off RT80. The stage you see will be bigger prior to the venue opening, along with a hanging PA system from the ceiling, and an additional light truss at the rear of the stage.

Fuck yea. South Hackensack and my town share a sports team. The town's barely a mile, I have no idea where they're going to put this place.

Venues in the suburbs are weird.

I'm excited. I lived 1 minute away from Birch Hill before they turned that into a housing development. Ridiculous.

the sound system is looking like it will be:
2 dynacoustics double 15s w/ 2 inch horn per side (4 tops total)
2 dynacoustics 18" subs per side (4 subs total)

basically the same PA that used be in birth hill

It doesn't have anything to do with 99.5% of the people that read AP.net.

well, it actually has to deal with everyone. because many people that read this board are in bands that do tour NJ.

After Birch Hill going down, Im glad to see there trying to build a new place for bands to play, granted this is farther away.

Oh and just for the record, I went to Crowbar tonight located in PA, and the set up may be the worst I ever seen for a music venue. Basically its like good luck seeing the stage. I hope this new place has more visibility.
