The New Tragic Are Going Big

There is a possibility that Pharell of the Neptunes and Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park will be working with The New Tragic (http://www.myspace.com/thenewtragic) on their upcoming full length. Phillip Reardon and Pharrel were spotted at the ASR skate expo vibing and networking, according to sources. Although this is not confirmed, I can guarantee this band will have some huge announcements in the future.

maybe to you, but you have thrice in your avatar, how many damn posts were on those guy's when they were recording? that was pretty annoying, but you didn't bitch because you liked them and believed they deserved it , right?
in my opinion these guy's deserve the coverage, theyve done a lot with themselves, and have earned it. they are putting everything they've got into this band, and in the end they'll put out a great album IMO.

Sorry, but i've heard this type of band before more than a thousand times over. The only thing that makes them unique is the fact they have scene cred.

Hmm, lets see, maybe the fact that LP has sold millions of records. Despite your taste for LP, you need to look at it from their standpoint. Who knows, Mike could be a friend of one of the members.
What is so wrong with LP anyways, Mike Shinoda is probably one of the best hip hop lyricists.

lets be real. this band has 2 guys in it that have good names. enough said.. that will garentee album sales off the bat. not to mention they're talking to Mike///Pharell about doing the upcoming album. I am not a huge fan of the screaming, but dallas is the man. If i didnt play drums on these three demos, i would probably buy it ( if it were for sale ). The vocals could improve... alot.. but thats nothing that a good producer can't take care of. This shit will sell.. as long as kids dont wake up in the next year and realize that this music went out a while ago and bands now are just scoping out footprints to walk in. Maylene in my eyes is FAR more unique, and theyre all amazing musicians(whether you like southern rock or not). I'm not a HUGE fan... but what the hell is this shittalking about Linkin Park and shit.. thats one of my least favorite bands, but listen to the sound design/production of ANY LP record. If you had a band that was asked by Mike to produce your album.. dont fucking tell me you'd say "no", unless you're some tough guy hardcore kid. and even then, you might.

It's a shame that a crappy band that hasn't toured is already getting offers by producers and labels.

yeah like dallas' real band, maylene and the sons of disaster. how does the garbage always seem to get the attention but the real music just goes under the radar. oh wait thats right i forgot the world we live in today, music that sucks gets attention. although its not the best example, look at viewers for the grammys vs american idol. disgusting.

i'm getting sick of hearing of gossip about this band every two days as well. between this and PHIL PIRRONE (X-STATIC LULLABY) they clog the news page. i'm going to be really pissed if this takes dallas away from maylene.
