METN v. Brother's Blood

Kevin Devine and Manchester Orchestra are great friends, play a lot of shows together, etc. Thought I'd see who's most recent album is favored among their fans. I liked METN more when I first heard it, but Brother's Blood really grew on me.

I'd probably go with Brother's Blood now, even though I still can't entirely get into Murphy's Song or Yr Husband.

I thought the production on Brother's Blood was very poor. Some of the instruments were really poorly recorded IMO.
