i went with marvel, but my favorite hero is batman. i just think that other than batman, a lot of the dc heros are a little more corny.

I grew up on both but prefer Marvel. Marvel just has more complex plots then D.C.'s run of the mill human by day, superhuman by night theme. Marvel also has captain america who is my favorite superhero. Marvel seems to be a lot darker and more "grown up" too.

For Marvel though the Fantastic Four is kind of a bust imo.

DC has two super heroes, Batman and Superman... and if you're not a fan of either then well you're shit out of luck.

Marvel has all of the X-Men (or just Wolverine if you prefer), Spiderman, Fantastic Four, Hulk, Captain America, Ironman, etc etc... you have some options with Marvel. Though DC has made a comeback in recent years... they're still boring as shit.

not to mention Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely's run on New X-Men is one of the most groundbreaking comic book series of the decade.
