So I know bands always walk around trying to pawn off their cd's at warped tour, but would it be okay to do the same with say shirts? I have a clothing company starting this week, and we want to sell shirts at warped tour(just put em in our backpacks and walk up to people, not get a booth or anything) Is this okay, will I get my shit confiscated?

It depends if your merchandise sucks? Link?

Why would it matter if the merchandise sucks? lmao. We don't have a link up, it's launching in 2 weeks, and our warped tour (july 31st) we were going to pass out a bunch of stickers and try to sell shirts and all that.

Probably not, considering they allow crazy monks to run around and try to get you to give them donations in exchange for a crappy book, so I imagine you should be able to do that with your shirts.

hey everyone my computer is being weird and for some reason i cant search for the warped tour set list thread, which i desperately need. can someone on here find that thread and paste it for me????
thanks.
also, i went to two warped shows last year in orlando and miami, and at both i saw people selling their own non-CD items.....i didnt see anyone get confiscated but like i dont want you to take only my word for it. before the show when everyone is waiting in line, bands and vendors and organizations always walk up and down the line trying to sell stuff, im almost 100% sure that you could sell at that time and be okay.
Why don't you call your venue to make sure if you can or not!

shouldnt be an issue.. its not illegal crap or anything. plus thats what warped tour is about.. getting things sold and bands noticed and awesome music all day long in summer. you selling shirts should be good.

i dont think they'd let you take stuff INTO the venue, but being in outside talking to kids in the line shouldnt be a problem.

Well, considering they don't do anything when you're walking around smoking a joint, I think you're fine.
This is a pretty good idea. I have a clothing company, but it's not really making any money.
