i really have a hard time seperating them ..the first two definitely rocked harder, but muse can also amaze w/ the slower stuff like "falling away with you" and "endlessly" .. I'd put the Origin of Symmetry at #1 and Absolution and Showbiz at 2A and 2B.

Anyway, I can't wait for this. It's going to be amazing.

I really think most british bands go for either a Coldplay or Radiohead vibe, and muse is clearly after the Radiohead experience. They have some catchy songs, but I feel like Radiohead does it better.

personally i like showbiz the least, and absolution is my favorite. but anything by them is good.

i never understood the radiohead comparison. they don't try to be way out there or anything like radiohead is ...they're doing there own thing. i think the general public could pick up a muse album and be into it, and i can't say that about radiohead. coldplay comparisons dont make sense because they could never rock out as hard as muse does ..the music sounds nothing alike.

i think absolution sounded like an album of alternate takes from ok computer. i swear to god you can pick out almost every vocal melody on absolution from paranoid android. its not hard considering most of the main vocal melodies on absolution are repeated to the point of nausea. its a shame cos these dudes are amazing musicians.

I found Absolution hard to get into, that's not to say it's a bad album because in my opinion it isn't - but I hope this new album goes back to their harder stuff. Wasn't a fan of the softer songs on Absolution.

Equilibrium sounds like a good name, though, if it turns out to be correct.

Hopefully they re-tooled "A Crying Shame" from when they played it live last year on the mtvU Campus Invasion Tour (which I'm sure they have). I wasn't too impressed with it.

I don't know about all the comparisons...I love both bands. But I'll take Absolution over any Radiohead album sans OK Computer and their first two records were brilliant also. Whereas Radiohead may be the most popular band for their innovation, I think Muse will become the most popular band in the world because of their pure talent and songwriting
