I'm going to be teaching "culture" to students in another country (South Korea) as part of their English Education. Besides music, movies, comics and games (all of which I could spend hours upon hours on), what else generally interests you guys, particularly those of you in high school? If/when you guys are studying a foreign language, what holds your interest (if anything at all)? Having liked languages, it wasn't and isn't a problem for me, but I know some kids need something extra to light a fire under their asses.

Any suggestions would be great. Also, if you've ever had interesting lessons in your language classes, let me know how they were. Like I said, I got ideas, but I want more.

i am completely serious with this:

first thing i ever learned in japanese and spanish, was how to swear, and all the vulgar everything. not so much to be bad, but because it was funny.

also: you live in warwick? i used to go to camp up there. is it still a nice little town? i havent been there in maybe a decade

haha, most likely they already know the vulgar stuff, they're high schoolers and they've been learning english from elementary

and it's a nice little town on the outside
