Here's a song I wrote today.
First I wanted it to be about life/universe, I wrote as I came up with things...
I tried to explain/ask what this world really is.
Then I just happened to realise that it was a girl I was writing about. You may not actually understand the song, but I do!

It's probably filled with cliché things, but I actually don't care this time around, as this is how it came up in my head.
Comment please.

Here it is, and it's called In The Act Of Seconds.
The bold text is the chorus.

What am I?
Another dusty painting on the wall?
Or does it even matter?
Does it even matter?
Texts written outside the margins.

Too many words, too complicated.
Too many words, too complicated.

If I'd be to ask for the truth,
I would already know it.
Try to imagine a world where the flowers
die before they awake.
Where the light dissapears until it is too late.

Fell down this hole where I found the answer for thousands.
I look for the other. x2
Opportunities or coincidence?
I fell down this hole where I found an answer.
I look for the other!

Beneath the skin of myself I found the answer.
Inside your eyes I found the answer.
I can't seem to find the key to it all.
But it's there.
I can't seem to find the key to it all.
But I know this is real.

In the act of seconds I saw your face.
And I knew it was real.
I knew it was real.
In the act of seconds I watched your face.
I knew I had to.
I knew you were real.

Fell down this hole where I found the answer for thousands.
I look for the other. x2
Opportunities or coincidence?
I fell down this hole where I found an answer.
I look for the other!

Egh, this is a really simple treatment of both subjects you sought to write about. This isn't exactly riddled with cliches, but it certainly stays well within the realm of the "been said a million times before." Personally, this doesn't affect me in anyway, and the repetition was a bit much (it feels like half of your song is just repeated lines).
