I had a chance to check out the With Honor, Stretch Arm Strong, Spitalfield and Silverstein show at the Metro here in Chicago. I haven't seen Spitalfield in almost two years and after seeing them tonight I'm counting down the days until they are back in Chicago. Once again, I am confused as to why this band is so underrated. They put on a great show, amazing guitar players, tons of energy and the vocals are ALWAYS dead on. This is the first time I've seen them play with the "new" TJ and as expected he brings a ton of energy to his live show. If any of the remaining stops are around you, make sure you check this tour out. Dan Lowder has something very serious to say about "snake bites," it's not a laughing matter of any sort. I will say I was a little bit let down as they didn't play one or two of my favorite songs off of Remember Right Now but I think I am going to live. The majority of the set list was made up of tracks off of Stop Doing Bad Things which is honestly a great album.

With Honor played there second tour date with the new vocalist. He sounds great, so you can put any doubts aside. He did a decent job of working the crowd but as he plays a few more dates I think he will be able to move a little more "comfortably." He can only learn so much in such a short time but of the songs he did play he did an amazng job. This was my first time seeing Stretch Arm Strong and the guys absolutely tore it up, they play with so much energy and the set list was made up of a perfect mix of newer tracks as well as a few older Stretch songs.

Spitalfield should be marketed way more than they are.

This show was sooo amazing last night. It was great to see Stretch Arm Strong once again after seeing them play a small basement show in Portland, Oregon. I was really impressed with how they do the new songs now.

Silverstien (the band Pat didn't stay for :p) did amazing as well. THey played a great mix of new with old and non stop energy as they always do. THey played for about a hour. THey also played two songs they never usually play. So all in all it was a great show. and well worth the drive or ticket price no matter what.

Spitalfield rocks, definitely one of my fav bands. I'm wearing their shirt right now as well as listening to them so this being the first post on AP is a little ironic. but Go Spitalfield!

One of the major flaws of Victory Records.

Spitalfield's great. I havent seen them in a while though. They played by here like 3 times in a matter of a couple months. I was able to make 2 of the shows and they rocked. Even though they played to like 40 people, they absolutely tore it down.

I went to the detroit show. With honor was pretty good, I agree the singer was a little stiff but like you said hell get more comfortable. Spitalfield was alright I just dont like them that much. Silverstein was awesome. They sounded just like their cd. It was a good show.

I'd seen them [Spitalfield] so many times the last 2 years and didn't think much of it. Then I saw them in November on their headlining tours, and I was completely stunned at their live performance. Now they're one of my favorite bands to see live&I absolutely adore those guys.
