According to sources, Spin Magazine has been sold to the San Francisco-based Hartle Media company for a reported $5,000,000.

That's not that much, but I guess their circulation is way down. It's amazing how much magazine circulation numbers are intensely down, I saw on MSNBC that Penthouse has dropped from 5.3 million subscribers in 1985 to 300k subscribers now. I'm not a fan of Spin though, so meh. Btw, respond to IM's!

well lets be honest, if i want some porn, all i have to do is sign online, go to google.com click preferences and click the button that says "no filter" and then type in my favorite vagina word and then boom, tons of porn, for free, and i didnt have to wait a week for it to come, nor did i have to wait a week to....uuuh yeah so...notice a 5 minute break from posts on myspace. its because i just gave the kids an easy way to beat off. and im ....off? hehe

Is it me, or does that seem like a REALLY small amount??? I mean, $5 MILLION is nothing to sneeze at, but still, it seems like they'd be worth more than THAT!!!

that is a relatively small price to pay for a magazine, it seems...but its probably right, because spin is terrible.
