Ryan and Jon are leaving Panic At The Disco. While they are still opening for Blink 182 and No Doubt, rumours are still swirling about who would be the replacements for Ryan and Jon . It is also said on their website that the new album is still going to be released as planned without Ryan and Jon. Pete Wentz described the four new tracks as "a more natural progression from "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out". While Ryan and Jon set for their "new project".

I think this is a good move for them. Though this may seem suprising but its actually predictable if you see the diffrence between the two albums. I think Ryan and Jon's new project will sound more like "Pretty. Odd." and Panic will take on from "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out".

Is this a good move for Ryan and Jon? Ryan have always written the lyrics but Brendon got the pipes. So maybe downfall for both sides? Or do you not care at all but just very disapointed that they're still opening for Blink 182 and No Doubt?

I think that now that Ryan and Jon left they should take a little time off to recover instead of jumping right into touring with new members or whatever. Then again, if you have a chance to tour with Blink-182 and No Doubt I don't think that there would be any way they would want to stop for either tour.

With that said, I do believe that the band won't be the same. I'm glad to see them before all of their new stuff is out, so hopefully they will stick with the older songs on the tour. I like Panic, but I don't think they can be near the same without Ryan at least. As said, he wrote all of the lyrics and without him there the band is going to take a serious downfall. I've always liked Ryan's lyrics and plays on words. I just don't know if they're going to be able to pull it off without him. Even though I like Panic, I personally have thought since they announced Panic opening that there were many better openers that could do it instead (like AAR, who are on part of the tour, or All Time Low, New Found Glory, even The Starting Line said they would get back together for it).

Honestly, I can see this being the downfall of both sides. Unless Brendon can write awesome lyrics and has just been hiding it, or they find an amazing lyricist as a replacement I don't know how Panic is going to work as well. As far as Ryan and Jon, I don't think they're going to be able to get something together that gets near as big as Panic is/ can be.

Panic sucks. They are one of the reasons people believe the music industry is in the shitter, because bands like that get picked up. Bands that appeal to the teenie boper audience, and will make them spend countless dollars on them. They are a band that has no sticking power. I really wish that they would go away, and let actual musicians, and better preformers be placed where they should be.

I kinda doubt this would work for ryan and jon especially if ryan is planning on being the main vocal for the band. He's a good lyricist but not a very good singer.

I wish the all the best though I have always like their music, even though the second one feels like a rip from the beatles (which I think is an influence from Ryan and his love for the beatles).
but doesnt "musical diffrences" as the reason for leaving feels kinda odd in a time where they're on the verge on opening for the tours and the new album coming out ?or is it just me?

I don't know who's going to be better, but it seems to be that they won't be able to be compared musically. Sounds like their going in different directions. Ryan sang a bit more on P.O. and I dug it. You can't say he's not going to be a good singer without hearing the music he's singing over first. Oh well though, I'm not that bothered by any of this.

Ryan is the skinny one who is the lead guitarist and Jon is on bass with the black hair and the beard.

I think Brendon wrote "Folkin' Around" & "I Have Friends In Holy Spaces," as well as helping with some of the lyrics in other songs. I'm actually not too worried about it, and I'd love to hear from both bands.

I still think the split is caused by more than a "musical diffrences"

Their best writer left. It's going to be interesting to see how both sides turn out.

I think they'll find replacements pretty easily, not worried about that. Lyrics might impact them a little, but I'm sure Brendon or whoever the hell is still in the band can pull it off. I don't even like PATD much, but that's my two cents on the whole shabang.
