Well? Was discussing this on another forum.

My pick(s) are Rocky, The Wrestler, Cool Runnings and Space Jam. I will do a poll when a few people have voted so I know what films to put in.

How could you miss The Mighty Ducks?

Also, any movie involving an Animal playing sports would be the opposite.

Haha because it is an animation about sports it means it isn't about sport? Sport is a pretty big part of the movie ahah. And I have never seen The Mighty Ducks, though I do want to. It is always on at Christmas.

I meant screw all those direct-to-dvd Air Bud, Chimp-playing-Hockey movies.

Raging Bull, Friday Night Lights

I really enjoyed this movie, then when the series started I got hooked on that and think it's pretty much the best thing on television right now, so when I rewatched the movie I couldn't enjoy it, it seemed so inferior to the show for me.

Space jam.

Does The Sandlot count as a sports film?
