Alright, the other thread is locked, probably because us Nintendo fanboys hijacked a thread that was about the PS3.

Now, anyways, lets discuss Nintendo in all its glory. First topic? Revolution and E3. It is coming in May, and apparently great things will be shown. Discuss.

As much as I want to say graphics aren't important, I still want screenshots.

However, the gameplay is gonna be sick. I can't wait to see the unveiling of the controller shell, how they work that.

E3 will have 'em for sure... I have a feeling nintendo's going all out. They realize that they need to convince people of the new controller, and they'll do so in a big way at E3. Playable on floor? I hope so... if Revolution is being released in 06 they almost have to, but then again, Twilight Princess is something they'll focus a lot of love on.

I think like 6 months ago, Nintendo sent out a press release saying to be ready for E3. They're gonna be bringing something amazing for that kind of hype.

Resident Evil 4 for Gamecube was amazing, i hope Revolution puts out a RE game, it would definitely convince me to spend the money i don't have to buy it

Rumor. It seems likely that it'll tie in somehow... I don't see why they don't port it over completely. They won't sell many new gamecubes with it, but they could sell MANY revolutions with it.

Yeah, they sent out those little cards to everyone... that is a cocky move to do, and there must be something to back it up. Chances are, they're going to unveil the other secrets of the Revolution (they keep saying there's more we don't know) and my head will explode. They'll sell many revolutions either way. I'd buy a revolution just to be able to swing Link's sword.

Nintendo works in mysterious ways. I'm assuming a Revolution tie-in is present. That's why it's pushed back until an unknown date in the fall.

Revolution is probably a code name, but then again, DS was a code name that they decided to keep. It's been Revolution so long and with such hype they might feel it bad publicity to change the name.

Also, I hope there's Metroid Prime 3 at E3... I want to hear how amazing the controller is for FPS games.

Yeah they're gonna do it there. Honestly, I hope that they keep it as Revolution. I don't know if I'd be able to call it anything else at this point and it's still a sweet name.

That would make sense, because Capcom always works well with Nintendo. Thats why RE4 was primarily a Gamecube exclusive.

if you look at the Revolution remote, you'll see that if you tip it on its side it'll make a fine NES controller. As far as SNES and N64 go, I don't know - probably use the "shell" controller, or just a GameCube controller.
