Definitely, I love it when comedic actors get the opportunity to show their chops.

very unexpected. especially with patton oswald starring in a sports flick, you'd probably be expecting some straight to DVD sports comedy

Was excited before, and am doubly excited now that the trailer is out. I actually did make a thread a couple months ago, but I deleted it because I decided I was going to stop posting and delete all evidence that I was ever here. I gave up after I deleted like 2 threads. And here I am.

I had the chance to see this in April, bummed I missed it. I have a friend who did though and said it was pretty good.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm reeeeeally skeptical of him being able to pull off such a dramatic lead role, haha. His voice, his mannerisms, his look are just so goofy.

I got a chance to see this about a month and a half ago and I thoroughly enjoyed it. He is definitely very good in this, and though the role is largely dramatic/serious, there's a definite darkly comedic side to things.

Same for me, with work and school i've been almost dead by the end of the day. The only release I got around here for friday was Humpday, its got some pretty positive reviews, i'll probably be checking it out tomorrow, have you seen it?

Yeah the same as far as being dead at the end of the day goes. I haven't seen Humpday it only played here for about two weeks and it was a busy couple of weeks for me, let me know how it is.

Thank you for that, as of yesterday it wasn't streaming yet. My plan was to go out and buy the film yesterday but walmart, best buy, or blockbuster didn't get any copies.

Yeah I had it in my DVD queue but I logged in today and it said it was streaming. Bonus!

Just watched it, loved it. Definitely has the same feel as "The Wrestler" but as people have been saying, there is a dark-comical tone to it as well. Patton did great, though.

The last scenes of the movie in the Philly bar with Michael Rapaport were intense. And lol at him shooting with a paintball gun.
