Underoath (http://www.underoath777.com) has finished tracking their new album and will begin mixing it in Los Angeles with Chris Lord-Alge (P.O.D., Stone Temple Pilots) in early March. The record was produced by both Matt Goldman and Adam Dutkiewicz and is tentatively scheduled for release in June. (Source (http://www.theprp.com))

go harder
I'll be excited to hear how people trash them for changing up their sound.
uhh.. all the songs i've heard in the videos or seen live are harder than everything on they're only chasing safety. If anything the "change" will be for the better.

The heavier, the better. Bring on the cries of the past-esque metal. I say that this band has set them self up to truly allow themselves to do whatever they want. They put out the fame and popularity record, now bring on the metal. People will eat it up.

hmnn only guesses I can come up with are
Its heavier and people start liking that type of music which is bad
or its heavier and people hate it, and go back to listen to the stuff thats right for them.

i have been watching those studio updates, and i have to admit, when this record comes out...no one will even remember TOCS. the new sound is fucking amazing and this band just keeps progressing into a bigger and better band with every record. i cannot wait for the release.
i hope they did not make this in a hurry. i want more than 10 tracks.
from what i remember record will include 11 or 12 tracks, but 2 of them will be instrumental, but not short like blue note but from what they said long and totally great songs that will show what they can :-) i can only say that i'm looking forward to this :-) and i think i don't have to mention that i hope this album will be much longer ;-)
i think that this record is going to be incredible. i think spencer vocals will sound more like he did when he was in this runs through. but as for the people hoping they'll sound more like older records, i doubt that that will happen because thats not really progress. and underoath always says how they change their sound with every record. but thats just what i think.
