My new favorite Arizona band is Bearhug, they're kinda new but they have different sound that I think people are looking for. If your into Coldplay, Death cab, or Copeland definitely check it out.

Oh man.. You guys have no taste.. The AZ scene sucks.. I should know.. I'm in a fucking local band. The bands that you just named off are hurting or scene.. Minus Jimmy, but even still their rep gives AZ a hard way for hard rock bands to get out. I'm a die hard Rise Against fan, but I play in a 80's influenced hard rock band, because I like the feel of the music from that era, and I just like it. Every band out here that claims to be punk is either a rip-off of Blink-182, or Green Day. Not the good Green Day, the lame four chord, major key Green Day, post Dookie GD. Same with Blink, not Mark (spelling) on vocals, but fucking Tom's vocals. Whiney little rich Scottsdale brats miking their parents trust-fund.

All the bands that have been named on here are terrible, untalented generic musicians. There is real stuff out here, you just gotta look. There is more than just the garbage that you just named. It's not just my band, but there are dozens more waiting to be discovered. It just sucks that the promoters out here keep the bands down, and the scene is basically dead because of greedy bands only in it for the money. It's sad.
