Rolling Stone (http://www.rollingstone.com/news/story/9363682/lets_hear_it_for_fall_out_boy) has posted an extensive article about Fall Out Boy (http://www.falloutboyrock.com) and their life on the road.

I found the article quite humorous, but I'm glad it kinda gave a perspective on everyone else besides Pete.

i really enjoyed it, too. i found the part about pete punching out a car window and joe smoking pot interesting...and patrick saying that he gains weight if he eats an apple.

Good read -- I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought Pete Wentz was trying to be Über-ubiquitous like a Jay-Z or Puff Daddy.
Also, I finally understand why they signed Panic!. He's absolutely right with the "We might as well sign the piggy-backers". If only blink had figured that one out.

" Backstage, the grizzled road crew of the day's other musical guest, prog-rockers Coheed and Cambria, is unimpressed. "Oh, I love him," a roadie sneers. "He's my favorite!""
By far the best part of this read, FOB was kinda cool, listenable as very least, about 2 almost 3 years ago, they played a darn good show in SF (slims) summer of 04, but now i just wish they would die. NO NO i take that back there all cool guys, and they travle with a really cool asian guy who is kissed, dont ask, but pete needs to fuck the wrong groupie get an advanced stage of some STD and become really sick really fast but die very very slowly and very very painfully.

I want to smoke pot with Joe Trohman and listen to R&B with Patrick. I love articles like this... stuff I never would've expected out of this band. Makes me like their records even more.

Haha they just got to number 8 in the charts last week with sugar (the second time it's been released as a single) they arn't small anymore. I was in Sports World (http://www.sports-world.com/) today buying shin guards and boots for soccer and sugar came on the radio and the 40+ year old man standing next to me started singing along to it, and the best part was he knew all the words, I laughed.

News posters suck.
This was actually a decent article. I don't know, I actually really, relaly like what I've read of Pete Wentz in the past few days. Makes me have some respect for him.
He seems very level-headed, appears to know what he's doing.

Attention all members of Fall Out Boy, if you read this, please contact Jason about finding this guy's IP address, so I can personally track him down and kick the shit out of him.

Hmmm, very interesting read, they all seem like decent guys, Pete has changed alot this year, but you can't not expect that. He still seems pretty down to earth though, I think Patrick sounds like such an awesome guy.

I have personaly met Pete a hand full of time, well 4 times. He is a terrible person. Here is how i know so, and here is a good pice of stuck up prick advice, when you walk up to Pete or anyone, say back stage a warped tour, like me self, and you put you hand out there and say "Hey, my name is ...." and then go on to say somthing along the lines of "I love the new C.D." or "Great show" so on and so on, and then they take the time to shake your hand but not introduce thems selfs after you have as if they are SOOO BIG!! NO!! FUCK THAT!!! i have met hunderes od famous people and you can tell if they are ass holes or not by if they introduce them selfs back, the ones that dont... well lets just say, no rather lets not "Sugar" cote it, THEY ARE FUCKING TERRIBLE PEOPLE! No one is too big for everyone to know them and if imma take my time to come see your band and then even take more time to say something nice you (PETE) could at least look me in the eyes like every other human being and "thanks man, thank for spending you hard erned money to come support my band" or somthing along the lines of such, but no he grab my hand like a 18th century duke and noded as he stared at me girl friends tits.
so come and fight me FOB fans, you know what i'll even tell you where i am going to be, Sunday San Francisco Bottom of the Hill, for the bled show. I'll have purple shirt on, a gray jacket, dark jeens on and a blue hat, i'll be the one with the bran new treo 700w!

It's sort of gross to watch your dad sing -- kind of guttural and passionate," Stump says. "It's almost like watching him bone.
See: There's the bands that you say you like to sound smart, and there's the bands you say you like to get laid. And then there's the bands you really listen to."
two of my favorites. hate this band all you want, they are smart, write catchy songs and have the world on a string.

They're headlining a 7,000 capacity festival in Leeds, England in May of this year. AFAIK they didn't play shows of that size in '03 in the States. And, as someone has said, they got to #8 in our charts recently.
The only time they had a "small, but very fast growing" period in the UK was just before their Jan/Feb '05 tour here. The venues they played then were 500-750 capacity (compared with their tour a month or two ago when venues were 1,700 or above). The original tour marked their transition from 'internet band' to 'mainstream alternative' in terms of their UK marketability. And it just hasn't stopped.

I am glad that not saying your name makes you a completely horrible person. Especially when you are famous and your name should be known. I am not saying it's cool what he did, but it does not make him a bad person. Thats just like saying your spelling errors make me sick and that makes you a bad person. Seriously "jeens?" Are you kidding me?

Well I met him when they were in Nashville with TBS and Matchbook in October 04...
He came walking by the entire line of people waiting to get in...and nobody stopped him...I did. I said hey Pete...could I get you to sign something for me? He extended his hand first to shake mine, and I shook his of course which was cool. I handed him my copy of Take This To Your Grave, and he signed it and while signing it, he said thanks for buying this. I said no problem, your music means so much to me, I have this one and the newer EP and i can't wait for your new album. He smiled and said something like "good luck" or something like that, I didn't quite catch what he said the last time.
Bottom line, he was AWESOME. He took time that he should've been heading back into the building to get ready to talk to me, if only for a couple minutes. It's a fond memory that I'll never forget.
I met the whole band when they came back in April 05 cuz they did the meet and greet after the show. Obviously didn't get to talk to them much as there were dozens of kids in line and it was getting late...but they all did say what's up and stuff like that.
They seemed the same then too...it just seemed like the big label was starting to ruin them already and Sugar hadn't even really hit. I think if anything, it's just harder for them to get close to their fans like before because they're so huge and their label has to be extra careful with them...I guess...all I know is from my experiences they've been awesome.
