Might just use the first 2 lines-ish in a new piece...
We looked like lovers on the balcony
While blood dripped over the edge from your lips,

She held me in her arms all night,
For I am a child looking for a mother
Yet I need a lover too (I swear...)
It's not as wrong as it seems to sound.
They're twisting words and love to
Make a better story for the tabloids (I swear...)
Cross my heart and hope to die
As she sticks needles in my eyes
I'm trying to stay aware (I swear...)
I swear to God it's really love...
