Bands who've sold cd's at Warped?

There are those amazing bands who walk around with a backpack full of demo's at Warped that they sell to fans walking around. They don't have a booth, and they aren't playing.You don't need to have like a pass or anything to sell and bring them into the venue and you can just walk into security with them with no problems, right?

I'm going to be one of those wanderers this year, I was just wondering if I'd have any problems bringing all the album's in with me. Those ridiculous people at security aren't going to throw a hissy fit, right?

Latin for Truth sold their album at Bamboozle but didn't play. Awesome idea, very DIY.

My suggestion is to get your band together. Get your instruments. Sit out in the parking lot. Play your songs acoustic. If you're serious about your music, then you'll do anything to get heard and out there, and this is a great way.

If my current band wasn't so electronic (think Crystal Castles mixed with Explosions in the Sky, maybe?) I would be doing it this year. Hell, I may promote some of my solo stuff and play acoustic. It's fun, it gets your name out, and you can meet cute girls :)

And I'm actually proud of myself! I didn't type "cool first post Hansel" like I normally do. So CD-star me if you will, but know that I'm impervious to the attacks of potentially bad music and being annoyingly hounded at a concert.

Every band I've ever listened to @ warped tour with their ipod and headphones has been terrible. :shrug:
