I like Olbermann but he tries too hard. Although his O'Reilley-esque anger can produce hilarious and epic results.
See: Olbermann on Rep. Davis.

Olbermann was great Pre-Electon/ Campiagn coverage wise but has been getting on my nerves lately.

I can agree with this. I didn't watch very much of him during the election but the little that I did was superior to his current coverage by far. His attitude grates easily.

This Rep. Davis is an idiot lol, really sad. I hate agreeing with Olbermann. Politicians on both sides of the aisle these days are a bunch of nutcases, it's pathetic.

The fact that we only have two sides of the aisle is in and of itself pathetic.

Well that's true too. You think that will ever significantly change?
Rachel's much better and more tolerable than Olbermann.

No. Americans are lazy. They don't want more than two choices. Only one choice would make them feel oppressed, and occasionally they'll look to a third option due to distaste towards the major two (as in the cases of Ralph Nader, Ross Perot) but those are isolated incidents and only serve to point out the bigger picture that we as Americans select our President through a pre-approved media filter. The chances of any party having a recurring shot at the presidency outside of the big two are nil.
What makes it even worse is that Americans actually only have a conservative party (Republicans) and a center-right party (Democrats) to choose from, dicking over actual liberals in the process. I was on this website, Political Compass the other day, and they had a breakdown of the major primary candidates for the 2008 Presidential Election and they were all in the same quadrant of the political spectrum, except for three! Democrats and Republicans. How infuriating is that?!

Admittedly some are misplotted (Ron Paul is not an authoritarian, Hillary Clinton is more authoritarian than Barack Obama) but the bigger point remains the same. We have authoritarian conservatives to choose from in both parties.

I'm not sure about the accuracy of the plottings on people or things that haven't taken the test. Look at the graph for the EU governments:

I would like to know how Spain's government is on the authoritarian right and how Sweden's is centrist. Admittedly I'm not well versed in European politics, but from my standpoint this doesn't make sense.

Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Netherlands seem perfectly placed.

Yeah, like I said to get the gist of the overall narrow scope of the American politico-economic spectrum it's good but if you're looking for detail that chart may not be the best solution.
Also Sweden is a market economy, I think it's fairly accurate.

MSNBC news correspondents are basically the left-wing version of the Sean Hannitys and Tucker Carlsons. I prefer real news slanted garbage.

She's coming to Milwaukee in April. Tickets are only $30 and they come with a signed copy of her new book. So I'll probably be going to that.
