This is always a tough one for me. My favorite band is The Movielife and I would have to say my favorite song by them is Hey (although everything they've ever written is gold). What about you guys? Favorite song by your favorite band?

If I had to pick a favourite band it would be Weezer, listened to them since the 90s. And if it's opinion based, not based on how successful the song was I'd be torn between "The World Has Turned and Left Me Here" and "Only In Dreams".

Tough one...
I have two, that is very tough for me to decided between..
Rise Against: "Everchanging," or "Audience of One."
"Everchanging," basically describes me and what my ex-girlfriend went through. The first line, "In the face of change, that's when she turned to me and said, 'I'm not sure anymore...'" That entire song describes the worst few days of my life.
"Audience of One," just captures the feelings, and confusion that happened after that series of events. I always felt like I was screaming at the top of my lungs to absolutely no one. The whole second verse just captures it the best.
My fav songs, and why..
Thesleepingwell
07/17/09, 03:47 AM
Peter Steele is the man.
He is. Some think he's a metalgod.
But he's the most talented bass player I've seen.
Indeed, speaking of Pete (yes this not really related) but there are rumors he might release a new album with his old band Carnivore. They were awesome back in the 80s, but Peter decided to bring it back. But for old skool vaule the album 'Retaliation' is an awesome peice of hardcore aggression.

With just a really pissed off look on his face.. It's like "YOu have no idea how much it sucks having such a big cock!" hahah!

His private life is always well documented, he even appeared on Jerry Springer once. The guy is funny as hell on stage though... but his voice is unique and has that gloomy sound like something out a horror show, but he can give out a good scream too. Check out Type O's 'Dead Again' album, he was 45 when that was recorded and he can still sing quite good. Pete is considered by many to be a 'Metalgod' because of his voice and his height. He's worthy of that tag too.
